The Editorial Team is made up of Living Educational Theorists who seek to live their values more fully in their practice, and to improve the quality of their practices and theorising. We hope to publish articles from many different countries and from different professional spheres, from people working in education, healthcare and administration, for example, indeed from wherever people are working on issues which incur deliberations about emancipation, democracy, empowerment, social justice, fairness and equal opportunities.

As incoming Chair of the Editorial Board of EJOLTS I want to thank my predecessor, Professor Moira Laidlaw, the first Chair of the Board, for her vision and sustaining commitment in helping to establish EJOLTS. Moira has been generous with her time and energy in contributing to the vision, review guidelines and the open review procedures for the journal. Since returning from 6 years of VSO at Guyuan Teachers College - later Ningxia Teachers University – where she is accredited as Professor For Life - Moira has continued to support the expression of values, skills and understandings that carry hope for the future of humanity. She continues to be a tireless worker in helping students and teachers to create their contributions to educational knowledge from their action research enquiries into improving their practice. Moira is continuing this work with teachers in Croatia and the Editorial Board are delighted that Moira will continue to contribute to the Journal through the review process.
