Action Research Made Simple

I was born in Country Donegal, Ireland.

I am a Lecturer at Dublin City University (DCU). I co-ordinate the M.Sc. in Education and Training Management programme which consists of an eLearning strand and a Leadership strand. Previously, I taught for five years in London and for five years at an International secondary school in Brussels. I have a post-graduate teaching qualification from Garnett College of Education, London and an M.Ed and Ph.D from the University of Bath, UK.

This year I was on the organising team for the International Diverse conference, which took place in DCU in June 2011. The main goal of the conference is to enhance the use of visual media in teaching, learning and creative inquiry.  I am currently working to support international collaboration through the Centre for Workplace Learning and e-Innovation.

In my Ph.D thesis,  I examined the growth of my educational knowledge and development of my practice, as a higher education  educator.  I explained the evolution of my influence in my own learning, the learning of others and in the education of social formations. You can access my work at website.
