July 2017, Volume 10, Issue 2

This issue heralds the end of 2017 and launches us into 2018, when we will be celebrating EJOLTs 10th anniversary. This issue, comprises papers from educational practitioners researching their values fueled practice in diverse fields, cultures and contexts. As you read this issue I hope you will feel inspired to continue researching your educational influence in your own learning, the learning of others and the learning of the social formations within which you work and live and sharing accounts of your explanations. I also hope you will find the conversations between reviewers and authors in the open review space (both the ‘submitted papers’ and the ‘published papers’) give food for thought and moves you to work on papers yourself. As part of our 10th anniversary celebration we will be: reviewing our review processes and procedures, researching our practice creating EJOLTs together, and reflecting on what we might learn from what has been that might inform an optimistic future where humanity can flourish.
